This Spring, Bluebird Chelsea has partnered with Fever-Tree and Tanqueray to offer the seasonal Afternoon Gin & Tea. They also have a tiny tea afternoon tea too, which was perfect for Minipreneur.

It’s available for £29.50 per person from Thursday to Sunday between 3pm and 4:30pm in the main restaurant upstairs. Also available is a special Tiny Tea for children up to 10 years old.

As our visit was during the Easter holidays, both afternoon teas for grown-ups and their little ones had an Easter theme. However, we’re told that the Tiny Tea and Afternoon Gin & Tea are available until 15th May.

Tea infusions include a choice of Earl Grey, Chamomile, Jasmine and English Breakfast.

The Afternoon Tea is served in a stylish birdcage-inspired tiered stand.

Sandwiches included Scottish Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese, Coronation Chicken, Classic Cucumber and Rare Breed Hen Egg, Mustard Cress & Truffle. Guests are offered unlimited sandwiches which is very hospitable although, on the day we visited, the sandwiches were a tad stale.

It wouldn’t be afternoon tea without scones. Bluebird offers Warm Plain & Raisin Scones served with Rodda’s clotted cream and Bluebird’s own strawberry preserve.

The Sweet offering included Easter Bonbon, Mini Hot Cross Bun, Mango Passion Fruit Easter Egg Macaron with Pistachio Bunny.

Let’s take a closer look at Bluebird’s Tiny Tea which is available for children up to 10 years old and includes a choice of apple juice, orange juice or milk.

Priced at £14.95, the Tiny Tea included three different sandwiches – cheese on white bread, ham on wholemeal bread and cucumber on white bread. Little ones are also served Mini Scones with Jam.

For the Sweet offering, there were an Easter Bonbon, M&Ms Cookie Bunny and a Strawberry Milkshake.

This Spring, D&D London has also collaborated with Fever-Tree and Tanqueray to bring guests an exclusive Gin & Spritz cocktail menu across four of their London restaurants: Bluebird Chelsea, Coq d’Argent, Fiume and Le Pont de la Tour.
