If the soul of South Africa had a flavour, it would be smoky, spiced and unapologetically bold. At Vivat Bacchus, that spirit dances through every course of the new VB Moments experience – a sensory, story-driven celebration of heritage and hospitality that feels both theatrical and deeply personal.

The evening begins with bubbles – crisp, effervescent and celebratory – setting the tone for what follows: a journey through taste, texture and storytelling.

The Biltong Trolley arrives like a scene from a culinary play, a gleaming cart bearing five varieties of hand-cured meat sliced to order.

The wagyu, deeply marbled and tender, offers a buttery savour that lingers luxuriously. Zebra brings a subtle gamey note, delicate yet distinctive. Stokkies – thin, chewy strands of spiced beef – deliver pure nostalgia for anyone who’s known true South African snacking.

The classic beef biltong is richly cured and deeply savoury, rounding off a masterclass in texture and intensity. Each bite tells its own tale of craftsmanship and patience.

Then comes the Mealie Bread, golden and rustic, arriving warm from the oven. Served with peri-peri honey butter, it offers a delightful interplay of sweetness and heat – sticky, spicy, and utterly moreish. This is comfort food with charisma.

The Heritage Braai Board is the showstopper, a feast that feels primal yet polished. Ostrich fillet, lean and dark, delivers a satisfying minerality – a fine, meaty chew that’s beautifully offset by its gentle smokiness. The sirloin, juicy and flame-kissed, speaks the universal language of great steak, each bite redolent of oak and fire.

The brannas-and-coke pork belly nods playfully to a South African classic, its caramelised crust and soft interior singing with sweet heat and boozy charm. Boerewors, the coiled sausage beloved across the nation, bursts with coriander and clove – hearty, rustic, and steeped in memory. Served with the meat, the Beef Dripping Candle melts slowly, perfuming the air with rich, animal warmth – a clever sensory anchor that turns dinner into theatre.

Braai culture in South Africa is far more than a method of cooking – it’s an emblem of connection, celebration and storytelling. Families and friends gather around open flames not merely to eat, but to share laughter, exchange tales and honour togetherness. At VB Moments, that very essence has been lovingly translated for London diners. The communal platters, live flame, and shared experience echo the heart of the South African braai, transforming a simple meal into an act of unity and joy.

Of the sides, the Braaied Heritage Carrots are a quiet triumph – caramelised, buttery and lifted by tangy feta. The Creamed Spinach is lush and velvety, the perfect foil to the grilled meats. Sauces deserve applause too: the peppercorn is unapologetically bold, while the chakalaka, a Johannesburg staple of beans, peppers and spice, brings vibrancy and verve.

Dessert arrives with a wink. The Peppermint Crisp Tart is a riot of texture – creamy, crunchy, and sweet with minty freshness combining into a nostalgic crescendo.

Finally, the Koeksister – a syrup-drenched plait of fried dough – offers a golden, sticky finale that’s pure joy and perfect with an after dinner coffee.

At the heart of the new VB Moments experience lies Ubuntu, the South African philosophy that means “I am because we are.” It’s a concept that celebrates the interconnectedness of people and the importance of shared humanity. At Vivat Bacchus, Ubuntu is served with every plate – in the storytelling, the shared dishes, the laughter between courses. It’s a reminder that food, at its most powerful, is not just sustenance, but a bridge between souls.

VB Moments is not just dinner, but storytelling through flavour. Each course whispers of home, of laughter, of firelit gatherings under vast skies. Vivat Bacchus has managed something rare – a dining experience that’s as heartfelt as it is hedonistic, where the spirit of Ubuntu isn’t just served, but shared.

There’s something quietly confident about The Duke, nestled in the heart of historic Henley-on-Thames, that signals you’re in for a rather good time. It’s the sort of place that doesn’t shout but draws you in with charm, warmth and an irresistible promise of something special on the plate.

With a deep reverence for seasonal produce and local provenance, the menu sings with British pride, while the service is as easy-going and polished as the town it calls home. This isn’t just another gastropub – it’s a celebration of flavour, community and comfort, all under one very handsome roof.

Step inside and you’re met with a rich, tactile elegance that whispers indulgence without ever feeling pretentious. There’s a graceful flow from snug corners to spacious banquettes, making it equally suited to lingering Sunday lunches or lively Friday evenings.

Outside, a sun-drenched terrace beckons for crisp glasses of rosé and lazy, laughter-filled afternoons. Dogs lounge happily under tables, children nibble their roasts, and there’s a conviviality that feels genuinely inclusive, not simply curated for effect.

Henley-based Interior designer Anna Moss of Moss Living Interiors has worked her signature alchemy here, conjuring up a space that marries refinement with soul. Soft velvet seating in jewel tones, richly textured wallpapers and the comforting glow of ambient lighting strike a perfect balance between sophistication and ease.

It’s the sort of space you’d dream of replicating at home – if only your living room came with world-class food and a well-stocked bar. Whether you’re gathering the clan or enjoying an intimate dinner à deux, the room feels just right.

The aged beef fat focaccia is a triumph of chew and crunch, its golden crust infused with deep, savoury richness. Served with a generous helping of sour cherry harissa butter, the combination is a thrilling dance of sweet, smoky and spicy. It’s the sort of snack that demands torn chunks, shared messily, and quickly reordered.

Pork belly bites come lacquered in a soy and sesame glaze so glossy it reflects the candlelight. Each morsel boasts a perfect ratio of crisp skin to melting fat, delivering an unctuous mouthful that’s pure indulgence. The seasoning is bold, the flavour unapologetic, and the portion pleasingly generous.

The ChalkStream® trout tartare is a delicate composition of pearlescent fish, finely diced and seasoned with precision. Perched on a crisp fish skin cracker, the textures contrast beautifully, while avocado and coriander add creamy freshness and herbal lift. It’s a dish that’s light yet packed with clean, confident flavour.

The chicken liver parfait arrives impossibly smooth, rich with a whisper of brandy and a depth that lingers long after the last bite. A tangy orange chutney cuts through with bright acidity, while smoked almonds bring unexpected crunch and earthy warmth. Spread over The Duke’s signature aged beef fat focaccia, it’s a plate that balances decadence with flair.

BBQ lamb shoulder flatbread is a celebration of bold British cooking with a Levantine twist. The lamb is tender, charred and deeply flavoured, nestled atop pillowy bread and dressed with mint yoghurt, sharp pickled onion and a chilli heat that creeps up deliciously. It’s messy, hearty and utterly satisfying.

The Duke Henley BBQ lamb shoulder flatbread

King prawns come expertly seared, their sweetness offset by a whisper of jalapeño that teases rather than overwhelms. Thin slices of cucumber bring cooling crunch, while yuzu essence lends a citrus hit that lifts every bite. It’s refined, fresh and quietly addictive.

The Duke Henley King Prawns

The Berkshire beef striploin roast is everything a Sunday centrepiece should be – pink, juicy and bursting with deep beefy flavour. The Yorkshire pudding is sky-high and airy, soaking up the punchy horseradish and meat juices with gusto. Paired with tenderstem broccoli and garlic roast potatoes, it’s the epitome of British comfort food.

The Duke Henley Sunday Roast Berkshire Beef

Oxfordshire pork belly arrives with crackling that shatters like sugar glass and meat so tender it barely resists the knife. The apple accompaniment is gently spiced, complementing the richness with fruity sharpness, while tenderstem broccoli and those golden garlic roasties round off a perfect plate. It’s a roast that satisfies body and soul.

The Duke Henley Sunday Roast Oxfordshire pork belly

The truffle and parmesan fries are not just a side, but a show-stealer in their own right. Crisp to the bite, with fluffy centres, they’re dusted in umami-rich parmesan and just the right whisper of truffle. Decadent and moreish, they demand to be devoured by the handful.

The Duke Henley Truffle Parmesan Fries

To finish, the gooey chocolate brownie is warm and wicked, its centre rich and molten like a chocolate fondant. Shards of golden honeycomb add crunch and burnt sugar complexity, while vanilla ice cream pools gently into the cracks. It’s a dessert that lingers sweetly in the memory long after the spoon is down.

The Duke Henley Dessert Chocolate Brownie

And for families, there’s even more to love. This summer, The Duke in Henley-on-Thames is running a brilliant Kids Eat Free offer – one complimentary kids’ dish from the children’s menu with every adult main or Summer Set Menu dish, plus a scoop of ice cream for good measure. There’s something magical about a truly great country pub, and The Mutton at Hazeley Heath is precisely that – a lovingly restored 19th-century post office turned award-winning gastropub nestled on the edge of Hampshire’s Hazeley Heath Nature Reserve.

Recently crowned National Pub of the Year 2024 and holder of two AA Rosettes, The Mutton is not just a pub – it’s a gastronomic retreat where rustic charm meets culinary finesse.

The Mutton at Hazeley Heath: National Pub of the Year 2024 in Hampshire

Quintessential country charm is in ample supply at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath thanks to the exposed brick fireplaces, low beamed ceilings, and multi-panelled Georgian windows gently frame stunning views over rolling, green fields.

Talented interior designer Jojo Barr of House Nine Design has elevated classic pub charm to a whole new level.

From the detailed wallpaper and velvet dining armchairs in pops of burnt orange to carefully curated country-house-style cushions and washes of soft creams and greens along the ceiling and walls, every detail works to create a warm and homely vibe that radiates casual sophistication.

Why The Mutton at Hazeley Heath is Hampshire’s Best Gastropub

It’s easy to see why The Mutton at Hazeley Heath is considered one of the top countryside pubs near London thanks to what can only be described as one of the nation’s most impressive pub gardens.

Considered to be The Mutton’s crowning glory, the expansive 75+ cover space comes into its own during the spring and summer months when the pergola dining area becomes wrapped in a lilac cloud of wisteria. The sage green timber bar keeps the refreshments flowing for those in comfortable sofas enjoying views over Hazeley Farm and the green and pleasant land beyond.

Local plant nursery Hortus Loci, of Chelsea Flower Show fame, has been responsible for bringing the garden to its blooming best. Stroll around the pick-your-own herb garden, enjoy flame-grilled Garden Bites on the patio or book into one of the quaint, beautifully furnished Shepherd’s Huts. Seating eight and six guests apiece, they’re the perfect private dining spot with a difference.

British classics with a conscience is the name of the game when it comes to The Mutton’s fantastic food offering.

The kitchen is headed up by Rob Boer, who began his career in Cornwall under culinary master Nathan Outlaw before continuing to stock his larder with the best of British produce at classic pubs, including The Black Rat in Winchester, where he was part of the brigade that won the venue its first Michelin Star.

Three years working as Head Chef for former 2005 Roux Scholar and Great British Chef Tomkinson at Betony in Whiteparish preceded Rob’s move to The Mutton, where his expertise in British cuisine is evident on every plate.

Drinks & Nibbles at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath

Ease into things with a non-alcoholic Appletini, a refreshing concoction of elderflower, apple juice, lime and ginger beer that sings of orchard sunshine and garden parties. Or, if you’re in the mood for something maltier, a Birra Moretti does the job with its mellow, continental fizz – the perfect preamble to something hearty.

The Sourdough with Smoked Butter sets the tone for what’s to come in subtle but confident fashion. The crust is blistered and warm from the oven, the crumb airy, with smoked butter melting in golden rivulets – a simple pleasure, done impeccably.

Starters at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath

The Gin-Cured Salmon follows, the star of the plate glowing pink and glistening like stained glass. Paired with crisp seaweed and bright pops of citrus, it’s vibrant and delicate, with a whisper of dill mayonnaise tying everything together like a silk ribbon.

The English Asparagus and Parmesan Tart is light yet rich, with pastry that crumbles to the touch, the asparagus still verdant and proud, the salad of radish and asparagus spears adding crunch and contrast, all crowned with a perfectly poached egg.

Mains at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath

From the mains, Lamb Rump is a seasonal standout, cooked to blushing perfection and accompanied by a fire-roasted tomato that bursts with smoky sweetness. Merguez sausage adds a nudge of heat, while courgette and spring vegetables lend freshness and bite. It’s a dish that evokes sunshine and stories, best enjoyed with a view across Hazeley Heath.

Meanwhile, the Confit Pork Belly is pure indulgence – the fat rendered and sticky, the meat melting. A duo of seared scallops offers briny silkiness, the Jerusalem artichokes are earthy and sweet, and the kale brings a bitter edge that balances the whole thing beautifully.

Sides at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath

On the side, Parmesan Truffle Fries arrive hot and heady with scent, crisp and golden with just the right amount of bite.

The English Asparagus with Shaved Parmesan is another celebration of local produce – snappy, savoury, and entirely seasonal.

Desserts at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath

Desserts are a fitting finale. Three scoops of house-made Ice Cream (Brownie, Smoked Vanilla, Cranberry and Orange) showcase the kitchen’s playful touch – each flavour distinct and moreish.

But it’s the Chocolate Brownie from the children’s menu that wins hearts with its fudgy middle and crisp top – proof, perhaps, that grown-ups should never overlook the little things.

The Mutton Wine Festival – A Celebration of English Food & Wine

And just when you think you’ve had your fill, The Mutton at Hazeley Heath draws you back in with the promise of more. The Mutton Wine Festival promises a spectacular celebration of English wine, food and music.

Taking place on Saturday 28th June 2025, the festival features local vineyards like Louis Pommery, Hattingley Valley and Exton Park, tastings with sommelier Xavier Le Bellgo, live music, and street food including tacos, grilled steak baguettes and paella.

Tickets are £20 including a tasting glass and samples – a perfect day out in Hampshire’s most charming countryside setting. Find out more at themuttonathazeleyheath.co.uk/english-wine-festival-28th-june/

The Mutton at Hazeley Heath: A Hidden Gem with One of the Best Pub Gardens in the UK

What truly sets this fine dining pub in Hampshire apart is its soul. Yes, there’s the open fire, the velvet armchairs, the Shepherd’s Huts for private dining, and the Instagram-worthy loos – but it’s the warm welcome, the integrity of the ingredients, and the artistry on each plate that make The Mutton at Hazeley Heath a must-visit foodie destination.

In addition to the hotel’s popular Fork restaurant, locals and hotel guests including families rave about the hotel’s Afternoon Tea.

Served in the Polo Bar or on the terrace during the week and in the Fork restaurant at the weekends, this indulgent experience caters to grown-up tastes and little appetites alike.

Expect feather-light sandwiches with such fillings as Berkshire ham and wholegrain mustard; Severn & Wye smoked salmon, cream cheese & lemon; Cheese and chive with red onion chutney; and Egg mayonnaise and rocket accompanied by gourmet Pork and caraway sausage rolls.

In addition to warm fruit scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, there are also delectable sweet treats including Apricot almond slice, Passion fruit chocolate madeleine adorned with gold leaf, Orange rice pudding with caramel Chantilly crumbs, and Baileys tart with Baileys cream.

For children, the hotel offers a scaled-down version of the traditional tea, complete with sandwiches and sweet delights just for them from chocolate brownies to all-butter shortbread and more.

Instead of tea, hot chocolate is served with the Children’s Afternoon Tea which was taken to the next level by our Minipreneur when he requested it come topped with mini marshmallows!

The Tatin Old Fashioned, by contrast, is a moodier affair – Singleton 12 brings its caramel backbone to the fore, layered with 30/40 Double Jus and Noix des Pères Chartreux for a nutty, spiced complexity, softened with cinnamon and bitters. A real fireside sipper, even in summer.

The Champagne & Strawberry Mojito is a jubilant riot of summer fruit and effervescence, where Ron Santiago de Cuba’s white rum meets muddled mint and lime, topped with a generous pour of Champagne. It’s fresh, clean and celebratory. The Passion & Basil Spritz surprises with its tropical-meets-herbaceous balance, blending Ketel One vodka with Bonavida’s Grapefruit & Basil Aperitif, a whisper of Beesou Honey and tangy passion fruit cordial, all brightened by bubbles.

The Roasted Scallops arrive as golden medallions, their delicate sweetness heightened by a gentle caramelised crust. Nestled atop crisp potato rösti, they contrast beautifully with the softness of the shellfish, while a vivid pea purée brings freshness and a whisper of spring. The Parmesan sauce adds a deep, umami warmth, and a flourish of grated truffle lends a luxurious earthiness that lingers on the palate.

The Steak Tartare with Toast is a refined yet rustic affair – hand-cut sirloin, precisely seasoned with shallots, cornichons and capers, gives a punchy, tangy edge that’s balanced by the creamy richness of egg yolk. Served with crisp toasted sourdough, it’s a dish that walks the line between indulgence and tradition, executed with finesse and unpretentious flair.

Mains at The Ivy Winchester Brasserie

The Ivy Classic Shepherd’s Pie is comfort redefined – slow-braised lamb and beef melded together in a rich, velvety red wine sauce, layered beneath a crown of Cheddar mash that’s both crisp on top and yielding within. Each forkful delivers warmth and depth, with rosemary lifting the richness just enough to make it irresistibly moreish. It’s nostalgic, yes, but elevated – the sort of dish that wraps you up like a warm hug.

The Rib-eye on the Bone is everything a steak lover dreams of – 12oz of grass-fed beef, dry-aged for 21 days in a Himalayan salt chamber to coax out every last nuance of flavour. Cooked precisely to order, the marbling melts into the meat, offering a buttery tenderness with a robust, mineral depth. It’s bold, it’s primal, and it’s finished with just the right amount of char to make the edges sing.

Sides at The Ivy Winchester Brasserie

The Zucchini Fritti is a masterclass in crisp lightness – shards of courgette, delicately battered and fried to a golden whisper of crunch. Each bite offers a satisfying contrast between the warm, salty exterior and the fresh vegetal sweetness within. It’s a side that’s as elegant as it is moreish, practically begging to be eaten by the handful.

The Asparagus Spears, served simply with lemon and a glug of extra virgin olive oil, showcase the kitchen’s respect for quality ingredients. Lightly blanched to preserve their verdant snap, these slender spears retain their earthy sweetness and are enlivened by the citrus zing of lemon and the fruity depth of fine oil. A refined accompaniment that speaks of the season with every bite.

Desserts at The Ivy Winchester Brasserie

The Birthday Dessert Box is pure theatre – a chocolate orb arrives at the table glinting under the lights, only to be melted open by a stream of hot salted caramel sauce poured with ceremony.

Inside, vanilla ice cream, honeycomb and chocolate strands tumble forth, punctuated by bursts of freeze-dried raspberries and shimmering gold flakes. It’s indulgent, whimsical and unabashedly joyful – a dessert that ends the meal not just with flavour, but with a sense of occasion.

The Kids Menu at The Ivy Winchester Brasserie

For families dining at The Ivy Winchester Brasserie, the children’s menu is far from an afterthought. It offers a wide selection of crowd-pleasers such as fish and chips, juicy hamburgers and comforting Cumberland sausages – each dish designed to satisfy without compromising on quality. But there are also welcome surprises for more adventurous palates, including a perfectly pan-fried hake fillet and a rich, slow-cooked lamb and beef bolognese. Yet it is the dessert selection that truly delights. The kids Chocolate Sundae is a sugar-spun fantasy – scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream layered with chocolate brownie, popping candy, a puff of pink candy floss and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. It’s joy in a glass, a finale that leaves little diners wide-eyed with glee.

The Verdict

Whether you’re sightseeing in the shadow of Winchester Cathedral or indulging in a summer staycation in Hampshire, The Ivy Winchester Brasserie is the sort of restaurant that turns a simple meal into a grand occasion.

With stylish interiors, a well-curated cocktail list and a new menu that balances comfort and creativity, it caters with aplomb to all ages and appetites. Service is warm, the setting elegant, and the food reliably delicious. For lunch with friends, dinner with your significant other or a special family treat with the little ones in tow, this is a brasserie that does it all – and does it brilliantly.

Ginza’s cocktail menu is as artful as the cuisine. For depth and warmth, the Hakushu Old Fashioned leans into smoky Japanese whisky, underpinned by tonka bean syrup and Malagasy chocolate bitters – a sophisticated twist on a classic. The Omikami is punchy and confident – mezcal, Patron Silver, Aperitivo and grapefruit-thyme cordial – smoky, sharp and not for the faint-hearted.

The Hanami is a delicate, floral affair – Roku gin (crafted with sakura and sansho pepper), Yuzushu (a citrus liqueur), jasmine, Italicus, and Genmaicha (roasted rice green tea) rounded with a peppery whisper and foamed to velvet. Tenshi-Gao – served in a striking Fu Manchu ceramic tiki mug – pairs Aba Pisco with pistachio and herbaceous notes from a basil, sage and thyme cordial, topped with a grapefruit-rosemary tonic that zings with fragrance.

The Tuna Tataki is a show-stealer – the akami (lean tuna) is applewood-smoked and lightly marinated in soy, bringing depth and savoury richness, cut through by a sharp ponzu.

A blue cheese gomadare (sesame dressing) adds a nutty funk that shouldn’t work but absolutely does – helping to make this Tuna Tataki a bold, thrilling plate.

Nasu Dengaku features grilled aubergine lacquered in sweet dengaku miso, served with shimeji mushrooms and padron pepper, its silkiness punctuated by puffed wild rice for textural contrast. It’s soft, sweet, smoky – a comforting and complex vegetarian dish with Kyoto roots.

Tempura at Ginza St. James’s

The Scallop Tempura is ethereal – plump Jersey scallops delicately encased in an ultra-light batter, paired with a scallop roe XO mayo that is umami-rich and deeply indulgent. It’s a masterclass in restraint and richness, with texture to spare.

The Caramelised Black Cod is sublime – marinated for 72 hours in miso and grilled until the surface glistens with a lacquered sheen. Inside, the flesh yields in buttery flakes, offset by red miso and crunchy bubu arare (tiny rice pearls) and lifted with the acidic tang of pickled daikon.

Octopus Yawarakani sees slow-cooked Spanish octopus finished over coals for a kiss of smoke. The flesh is tender yet toothsome, balanced by a shiso-yuzu romesco that’s both nutty and citric, and served alongside potato and cherry tomato for sweetness and bite.

Sushi & Sashimi at Ginza St. James’s

The 9-piece Sashimi Platter is a display of purity – salmon is buttery and clean, tuna rich with deep iron tones, and mackerel surprisingly light and umami-laden with a bright, vinegared snap. Each slice showcases the chef’s knife work and the quality of the fish in full.

The 9-piece Nigiri Platter is equally triumphant – warm, seasoned rice beneath perfectly sliced fish. No wasabi overload, no flashiness, just precise balance and restraint.

Maki is the most popular sushi roll and at Ginza St. James’s you are spoilt for choice when it comes to these delectable bites. We chose the Snow Crab California Maki and the Softshell Crab Maki to compare the flavours and textures of these two must-try sushi dishes.

Top: Snow Crab California Maki, Bottom: Softshell Crab Maki

The Snow Crab California Maki is a cooling, sweet bite – fresh crab meat folded with creamy mayo, cushioned by ripe avocado and crisp asparagus. It’s subtle and elegant, ideal for those who prefer delicate, clean flavours.

By contrast, the Softshell Crab Maki packs some crunch – the tempura crab is rich and savoury, the shiso leaf adds brightness, and the spicy mayo cuts through the richness with flair. A bold, brash mouthful – the extrovert to snow crab’s refined minimalism.

Ginza St. James’s is a temple to Japanese culinary artistry – elegant, authentic, and pitch-perfect for a special occasion. The Stonebaked Garlic Pizzette is a thing of casual beauty – a golden disc, perfectly blistered, crowned with molten mozzarella and a house pesto that’s rich and fragrant with basil. It’s simple, yes, but simplicity done well is always a winning move, and this is the kind of dish that disappears faster than you can say “just one more slice”.

Located on Dean Street’s ever-vibrant thoroughfare, The Seafood Bar is a Soho jewel that delivers the kind of clean, precise seafood cooking we dream of but so rarely find.

The Seafood Bar London

A sleek Dutch import with roots in Amsterdam and Utrecht, The Seafood Bar opened in Soho in 2021 and has successfully cast its net over London’s discerning diners.

Oysters at The Seafood Bar London

The Seafood Bar lives by the Dutch ‘Lekkerbek’ philosophy (what might seem simple on the outside is complicated on the inside). Seafood dishes that look effortlessly simple are, in fact, the result of quiet mastery – a kitchen that lets pristine fish and shellfish do all the talking, no faff, no frills, just elegant execution.

Fish & Crustaceans at The Seafood Bar London

This is seafood for purists – for those who revel in the briny kiss of an oyster, the buttery flake of seabass, the sweet succulence of crab. Couples linger over platters piled high with glistening shellfish, while glasses of Grüner Veltliner and flutes of Ruinart Champagne clink in easy celebration.

Pre-dinner, the Amaretto Sour was a dream – nutty, silky with egg white, and just tart enough to whet the appetite. The Cranberry & Ginger Cooler, non-alcoholic but far from dull, balanced crisp & tart cranberry with the fiery fizz of ginger beer and the mouth-puckering acidity of lime – a grown-up mocktail with depth.

We began with Japanese-dressed Oysters, topped with salmon roe – plump and cold, the oysters delivered that unmistakable ocean hit, offset by the gentle pop and saline sweetness of the roe. They disappeared in two satisfying slurps, leaving the palate bright and wanting more.

The Crab Cakes, refreshingly free of potato filler, were all meat – sweet, moist and lightly crisped, paired with a citrus mayo that zinged with lemon and lifted every bite.

Tuna Tataki followed, elegantly pink within, gently seared without. The flesh was rich and clean, meaty like beef carpaccio but silkier.

The glaze of soy, ginger and sesame seeds lent just enough umami depth to keep the dish dancing.

Fish & Crustaceans at The Seafood Bar

To experience what The Seafood Bar does best, we went for the showstopping combination of Fruits de Mer ‘Seafood Bar’ and the Mixed Grill.

The Mixed Grill was a masterclass in hot seafood cookery. The shell-on king prawn was meaty and slightly charred, its juices captured in every bite. The shrimp skewer offered two soft, juicy shrimps brushed with a subtle glaze that didn’t compete with the natural sweetness. The squid was tender, not rubbery – grilled just right with a slight smokiness and satisfying snap.

Mixed Grill and Fruits de Mer at The Seafood Bar London

The plaice was delicate and flaky, a gentle white fish that soaked up flavour from the accompanying sauce. The salmon was rich and oily, with its natural fattiness offset by crisp skin, while the seabass was clean and silky, falling into perfect pearlescent flakes. Finally, the mussels, served warm in a tomato sauce, brought a welcome boldness – the sauce tangy and bright, ideal for mopping with crusty bread.

Mixed Grill at The Seafood Bar London

Let’s now deep dive into the star of the show – the Fruits de Mer ‘Seafood Bar’.

Fruits de Mer at The Seafood Bar London

The Seafood Salad was a retro delight of minced crabsticks in mayo – pleasingly cool and nostalgic.

Seafood Salad at The Seafood Bar London

The Smoked Salmon was velvety – its gentle oakiness balanced by a subtle cure.

Smoked Salmon at The Seafood Bar London

The Mussels were not as plump and meaty as they could have been but this was made up for by their exceptional flavour – a taste of the sea.

Mussels at The Seafood Bar London

The Whelks offered an earthier bite – chewy and robust, for those who like their shellfish with attitude. The Devon Brown Crab, dense and flavoursome, brought a nutty richness that spoke of British waters at their best.

Whelks at The Seafood Bar London

The Crevettes were fat and firm, their gentle sweetness shining when dipped in the accompanying seafood sauce.

The Oysters were fresh and flinty with a jolt of oceanic clarity, while the Langoustines were delicately sweet – their translucent flesh melting on the tongue.

Oysters and Langoustines at The Seafood Bar London

The ½ Lobster was tender and delicate, its flesh pulling easily from the shell – a balance of natural sweetness and briny minerality – while the Clams were soft and salty, each mouthful delivering a mellow chew and seaside whisper.

Finally, the Smoked Mackerel Rillettes brought a smoky, creamy wallop that played beautifully against slices of crusty bread.

Side Dishes at The Seafood Bar

Side dishes include a range of crowd pleasing favourites including chips, boiled potatoes with butter & chives, mixed salad, and broccoli with sunflower seeds. However our personal recommendation is to try the Truffled Parmesan Chips. Thick and proudly British, they have been triple-cooked to a crunch outside and fluff within, elevated with truffle oil and sharp parmesan.

Lobster Mac and Cheese at The Seafood Bar London

The Lobster Mac ‘n’ Cheese was sinfully indulgent – creamy and cheesy with nuggets of lobster lurking beneath a golden brown gratin crust.

Dessert at The Seafood Bar

If you’ve saved room for dessert, you will be greeted by a short but perfectly formed menu of sweet treats that include freshly baked Apple Tarte Tatin, a rich Chocolate Mousse and a tropical Rum Poached Pineapple with Sorbet. For a twist on the classic French dessert, try the Citrus Crème Brûlée – the top shattering with a satisfying crack, revealing a zingy, silky custard beneath – sweet and sharp, it was the perfect palate cleanser..

The Verdict

The Seafood Bar is a masterclass in letting top-tier seafood speak for themselves. From pristine oysters and perfectly grilled lobster to delectable crab and juicy crevettes, every dish is an ode to the ocean’s finest offerings. Elegant, unpretentious and utterly delicious – The Seafood Bar is a must-visit London restaurant for seafood lovers in the capital.

There’s a peculiar thing about Indian restaurants in central London. They tend to fall into two distinct categories: those serving what they claim is ‘authentic curry’ (usually bearing the same resemblance to Indian food as a postcard does to the Taj Mahal), and those charging Mayfair prices for what essentially amounts to a few prawns taking a luxury spa day in coconut milk.

In an area where tourists happily pay West End prices for West End disappointments, sometimes, just sometimes, you find yourself pleasantly surprised in the most unexpected places. Masala Zone has got the buzz – the kind of buzz that makes you forget you’re eating within spitting distance of a tourist queue for Mamma Mia! The place is alive with chatter, the scent of spice heavy in the air, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re about to have a wonderfully good time. Which, as it turns out, you are.

Running from now until 27th April, Masala Zone is rewriting almost the entire menu to take diners on a culinary coastal voyage like no other. Offering the unique range and regional depth that has become synonymous with Masala Zone, the MW Eat restaurant group’s highly skilled chefs have cooked up a vibrant and sumptuous showcase of the fascinating cuisines and sub-cuisines to be found amongst the buzzing street food stalls and gourmet homes in this part of the sub-continent.

For a limited run, The Culinary Voyage of the West Coast of India sees the west coast’s culinary influence from six flavour-fuelled territories infusing all parts of the restaurant’s expansive menus, from Thali to Curries, House Biryanis and Grazing Small Plates.  Diners will be transported from the majestic temple-laden state of Gujarat in the north of the west coast with its vast repertoire of vegetarian dishes and robust tastes that define Kutchi cuisine to the port city of Mumbai where a potpourri of all influences including the Maharashtrian’s hearty Kolhapuri cuisine, the delicate flavours of Saraswati, and local fisher folk cuisine combine to create exciting and complex Bombay dishes. The new menus also showcase dishes inspired by the Konkan Coast, Goa, the Malabar Coast and Kerala.

Kathiawari Yam Tikki Chaat

Featuring an unusual crisped purple yam mash giving way to a hidden heart of spiced peas, the contrast in textures is a joy. However, it’s the tamarind and yoghurt that truly make this sing – sharp, creamy, and just chaotic enough to keep each bite exciting. It’s one of those dishes that feels both unfamiliar and instantly comforting, a flavour-packed postcard from Gujarat’s coastal kitchens. You’ll find yourself wondering why purple yam isn’t a staple in every Indian restaurant.

Goan Spiced Crab Cake

Famously served at the Mandovi Hotel in Panjim, the Goan Spiced Crab Cake is a little golden puck of joy, crisp on the outside, meltingly soft in the middle, and packed with the kind of fresh, sweet crab that actually tastes like it came from the sea rather than a tin at the back of the cupboard. But what makes it sing is the seasoning—layers of aromatic spices that tingle at the edges, brightened by herbs and a whisper of citrus. Then there’s the vindaloo mayo, which is just ridiculously creamy, fiery, and laced with just enough je ne sais quoi to cut through the richness, it makes you want to smear it on everything in sight. If they bottled it, I’d buy it by the litre.

Karwari Crispy Fried Prawns

If I had a plate of these and absolutely nothing else, I’d still leave happy. They’re everything a fried prawn should be—golden, crunchy, and dangerously moreish, with that irresistible contrast between the brittle coating and the plump, juicy centre. But what seals the deal is the raw mango green chutney. It’s bright, tangy, and just sharp enough to cut through the richness of the fry, adding an extra layer of freshness that makes you wonder why all prawns aren’t served like this.

Onion Flower Bhajia

This deep-fried, golden tangle of crispiness lands on the table looking like an edible firework. The batter is light, the onion soft but holding its own, and the whole thing has the kind of crunch that makes conversation momentarily impossible. Dunked into the chaat chutney, which is a riot of sweet, tangy, and spicy, it’s the sort of starter you could eat endlessly until you suddenly realise you’ve had three portions and are now too full for the main course. An absolute winner—if you’ve got the willpower to stop.

Goa Cafreal Green Herb Chicken Tikka

The marinade of this Goan-inspired Chicken Tikka is a punchy mix of green herbs and warming spices that clings to the chicken like a well-tailored suit, infusing every bite with layers of fragrant goodness. There’s a smoky char from the grill, a whisper of heat at the finish, and an overall brightness that keeps it from feeling heavy. It’s Goa in a mouthful – bold, fresh, and absolutely something you’ll be ordering again.

Alleppey Prawn Curry

The Alleppey Prawn Curry arrives radiating the kind of sunshine-yellow glow that instantly transports you to the palm fringed backwaters of the Malabar Coast. The prawns are plump, sweet, and perfectly cooked, bathing in a sauce that’s a masterclass in balance – raw mango bringing a sharp, tangy edge, ginger and green chilli adding warmth, and turmeric grounding it all with earthiness. It’s the kind of curry that demands to be finished to the very last mouthful, with each bite a swirling contrast of heat, sourness, and creaminess. Fragrant, fiery, and utterly addictive – this is coastal Malabar cuisine at its finest.

Cochin Lamb Curry with Roasted Coconut

This is the kind of dish that makes you question why you’d ever bother cooking at home. Rich, deeply spiced, and slow-cooked to perfection, the lamb melts into a sauce that’s all warmth and complexity. The roasted coconut adds a toasty depth, while fennel, star anise, and cinnamon weave together into something that sits between aromatic and utterly indulgent. It’s said to be Kerala’s answer to Rogan Josh, but frankly, it might just be better – because once you’ve mopped up every last drop with a fluffy naan, you’ll already be planning your next visit.

Konkani Veg Khatkhate Curry

This vegetable curry, inspired by the cuisine of the Konkan Coast, is the sort of dish that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about vegetarian cooking. A riot of seasonal vegetables, each holding its own in a sauce that’s creamy with coconut, sharp with kokum, and humming with mustard and curry leaves. There’s depth, warmth, and just enough tang to keep you going back for more. It’s vibrant, festive, and unapologetically bold.

Malabari Moplah Lamb Biryani

There are two kinds of biryani in this world: the sad, dry kind that tastes like someone just threw some curry powder on rice and called it a day, and the proper kind, where every grain is infused with spice, the meat is meltingly tender, and the whole thing smells like heaven. This is firmly in the second camp. The lamb falls apart at the slightest nudge, the rice is fragrant and perfectly cooked, and every bite is a little different—some with a burst of sweetness from caramelised onions, some with a hit of warming spice. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you why biryani has been a classic for centuries.

Peshawari Naan

So simple in theory, yet so often ruined by lazy kitchens that churn out dry, lifeless discs of flour that feel like they belong in a budget airline meal. But not here. No, here they arrive hot from the tandoor, puffed up in all the right places, charred just enough to add a whisper of smokiness without veering into burnt territory. There’s a perfect balance of crispness and chew, the kind that makes you want to tear off a piece and dunk it straight into whatever sauce is nearest. And they actually taste like something – not just an afterthought to scoop up curry but a thing of beauty in their own right. If I could get away with ordering nothing but a basket of these and a few dips, I just might.

Gulab Jamun with Ginger Ice Cream

This is the kind of dessert that sneaks up on you. The gulab jamun – golden, syrup-soaked, and unapologetically rich – delivers all the usual decadence, but it’s the ginger ice cream that steals the show. Cool, creamy, and just fiery enough to cut through the sweetness, it transforms the dish from a predictable sugar rush into something altogether more sophisticated. The contrasting flavours and textures offers the dessert equivalent of a mic drop. This dessert is yet more evidence to prove that Masala Zone knows exactly what they’re doing.

The Verdict

Masala Zone doesn’t just do good curry – it does proper curry. No shortcuts, no watered-down spicing, no overpriced mediocrity. It’s on point, it’s fun, and most importantly, it’s really, really tasty. Which, in the theatreland of central London, is something of a pleasant surprise.

London has no shortage of places to grab a Sunday roast, but few do it with quite as much style and skyline bravado as OXO Brasserie. Perched high above the South Bank, this modern British restaurant offers diners panoramic views of London’s skyline that make you feel you’ve truly arrived.

Inside, the space is effortlessly cool, all sleek lines and industrial-chic charm with modern art adorning the walls. Tables are close enough to create a buzz but not so packed you’ll accidentally adopt your neighbour’s bread basket. It’s relaxed but refined, stylish but never stuffy – the kind of place where even the napkins seem to have their own PR team.

Whilst the live music hums in the background like an agreeable dinner guest who knows when to stay quiet, the impeccable service from the friendly staff is attentive without being overbearing allowing you time and space to enjoy sharing food with friends and family. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows London sprawls before you like an overachieving postcard: St Paul’s standing smugly in the distance, the Thames curling beneath like it owns the place. It’s a view that doesn’t just invite admiration – it demands it.

Whether you’re looking to indulge in a hearty Sunday Roast or enjoy a modern twist on a British classic, the OXO Brasserie menu on Sundays provides a perfect way to end the week in style – be it with your family or a group of friends.

Tasty Tipples from the Cocktail Menu

For the perfect start to your Sunday lunch, the cocktail list reads like a novella penned in a beach bar during a particularly indulgent sabbatical. Take the Rum’eo and Juliet — a frankly ludicrously good Tiki number that arrives looking like it’s late for a luau. Ron Santiago de Cuba Dark Rum, bergamot liqueur, Earl Grey, lemon juice and ginger, all topped with a spritz of Mexican lime soda and a potent dash of Bounty 151 Overproof Rum. It’s a sun-drenched tropical treat in glassware.

The Melba Daiquiri is what happens when someone with access to very good rum decides to make a peach melba relevant again. Fruity, frivolous, and just shy of flirty. Then there’s the Power Station, a brooding behemoth of a drink. Six weeks in an oak barrel has done wicked things to its whisky-Campari core, and the result is less cocktail, more a slow-burning revelation. It punches like a disgruntled bouncer but finishes with surprising elegance.

Non-drinkers aren’t left to sip sad soda. The Virgin Mary is every bit as fiery and satisfying as it’s Bloody Mary cousin, without the need for alcohol. For those looking to indulge, the OXO Bloody Mary is a house favourite developed over 15 years, featuring an expert blend of cold-pressed tomatoes, chipotle peppers, slow-roasted garlic, smoked paprika, and Ketel One Citroen vodka.

Starters That Whisper, Then Shout

The Bread Selection arrives like a warm-up act with a surprisingly solid fan base. Not warm, granted, but forgiven for being so texturally pleasing – slices of sourdough baguette, chunks of olive focaccia and poppy seed rolls – all made charmingly unpretentious with a slab of Somerset butter. The Mushroom Arancini are golden orbs of comfort, soft-centred and smug with Cornish brie. The truffle mayo doesn’t overdo it – a rarity these days – and the whole thing feels decadent without being overwhelming.

Baby Chorizo with honey and rosemary is a whisper of the Mediterranean with a slap of smoky heat. It dances somewhere between charcuterie board and fever dream.

Then comes the Dorset Crab, which surprisingly is a warm dish – but oh what a pleasant surprise! Sweet, light, sea-kissed, and artfully presented on wheaten bread with sea vegetables. If Poseidon had a starter course, it would be this.

Sesame Spiced Pork Belly with pickled radish and nashi pear brings balance – fat and crunch, heat and sweetness. It’s the sort of dish you try to recreate at home and end up weeping into a jar of pickles.

The Sunday Centrepiece

Available from 12pm to 5pm each Sunday, the OXO Brasserie’s Sunday Roast Menu has been created with culinary flair by Head Chef Keir Barry and features a quartet of expertly prepared options each served with an array of mouthwatering sides. Choose from succulent Corn-Fed Chicken served with chorizo pigs in blankets or tender slow-roasted Rump of Beef with horseradish cream and beef dripping caramelised onions. Also on offer is Pork Belly with crispy crackling, and for the vegetarians & vegans amongst us, Roasted Cauliflower with white bean hummus, tabbouleh and dukkah.

The Pork Belly is the textbook answer to why British cuisine still matters. The crackling is perfectly crisp, the pork is tender enough to cause a minor swoon, and the Yorkshire pudding — gloriously stuffed with caramelised onions — borders on absurdly good. Drenched in what is aptly described as “proper good gravy”, the beef dripping roasted potatoes could be weaponised in the best possible way. Bringing up the rear, hispi cabbage and organic carrots add another layer of deliciousness to the plate.

Aside from the quintessentially British Sunday Roast options, the menu also features a choice of main dishes with something to suit all tastes. The Beer-Battered Cod is not your local chippy’s effort. Toasted fregola and a rich mussel bisque elevate it into something entirely new — familiar yet elevated, like a London cabbie quoting one of Shakespeare’s sonnets.

Harissa Lamb Shoulder is all smoke and silk – falling apart with the lightest nudge, warmly spiced, and cleverly brightened by spinach yoghurt and preserved lemon. It’s Sunday lunch meets spice market.

For the little ones, OXO Brasserie has a varied Children’s Menu with something to suit all tastes. Minipreneur loves pasta dishes so had fun eating the linguine!

Sensational Sides

Often treated as an after-thought, sides can either be terribly underwhelming or a quickly forgotten taste on the palate. Not here. The ubiquitous Mac ‘n’ Cheese has been upgraded to Crab Mac ‘n’ Cheese. Over the top? Certainly. Necessary? Entirely. Creamy, indulgent, and laced with proper crab, it’s culinary comfort with a luxury twist.

Even the Fries, those humble sidekicks, deserve applause. Rosemary salt. Crispy edges. Fluffy centres. You’d be a fool not to order them.

Desserts That Know Their Worth

The Sticky Toffee Pudding comes with clotted cream, fudge ice cream, and enough toffee sauce to require a nap afterwards. It’s traditional, rich, and entirely unapologetic — as all great puddings should be.

The Pear and Ginger Cheesecake, deconstructed to within an inch of its life, actually pulls it off. The poached pear is perfectly tender, the ginger Hobnob is a playful nod to biscuit tin nostalgia and a stylish interpretation of a cheesecake base. It’s all terribly clever without too much overthinking.

For a lighter option that still feels indulgent, go for the Fudge Ice Cream. Silky smooth with a caramelised richness, it has a buttery depth with a hint of nostalgia that takes you straight back to seaside fudge shops, only this time, it’s grown up and dangerously sophisticated. A perfect choice for the kids, Minipreneur loved it!

The Verdict

OXO Brasserie is the sort of place that lures you in with the view and keeps you seated with the food. Head Chef Keir Barry knows precisely what he’s doing – seasonal modern British fare that’s contemporary without being pretentious. The open kitchen buzzes, the live music hums, and the whole experience feels like London at its best: effortlessly stylish with just enough edge to keep it interesting… almost as interesting as the latest Pablo & Splash book was to Minipreneur on the train home!

If you’re after a Sunday lunch that respects tradition but isn’t shackled by it, this is your spot. It’s not just lunch – it’s theatre, comfort, indulgence, and a little bit of city swagger served on a plate.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is the epitome of festive cheer, offering an unforgettable experience for families looking to dive into the magic of the Christmas season.

From its whimsical attractions to heart-racing activities, we had a fabulous fun-filled day enjoying all the frosty festivities!

Our first stop was the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Magical Ice Kingdom, and it didn’t disappoint.

The attraction is meticulously crafted from over 500 tonnes of snow and ice – weighing twice as much as the Statue of Liberty!

Walking through the Queen of Hearts’ castle, we were spellbound by larger-than-life ice and snow sculptures — intricate, glistening, and utterly captivating.

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party had our little one squealing with excitement, while the iconic Cheshire Cat seemed to smile just for us.

The Magical Ice Kingdom is one of the largest ice exhibitions in Europe, with carved sculptures reaching over five metres high.

The -10°C environment added an authentic touch of winter chill, though the sheer wonder of the exhibits kept us warm with delight.

Pro tip: pack extra layers for little ones to ensure they enjoy every frosty detail!

Next up, we swapped shoes for skates at the UK’s largest open-air Ice Rink with 1,795 square metres of skating space. Set beneath a canopy of twinkling lights, with live acoustic melodies filling the air, this was undoubtedly a highlight for all the family. Younger skaters can build their confidence with penguin skating aids, while more daring grown-ups can test their skills around the beautiful Victorian bandstand. The rink was bustling with families and couples, all sharing in the joy of gliding through this festive wonderland.

For an adrenaline kick, we headed to the Real Ice Slide, a family favourite. Standing at an impressive seven metres, the slide gave us an exhilarating 35-metre descent. With helmets secured and rubber rings in hand, we raced each other down the icy slope, giggling all the way. Our little one couldn’t resist a rematch, and honestly, neither could we! After the thrills, we rewarded ourselves with creamy hot chocolates — a perfect end to this frosty escapade.

Even more thrills awaited us at Zippos Christmas Circus: Candyland. Located at the heart of Winter Wonderland, the show was a magical escape that left our whole family grinning from ear to ear. From the moment we stepped into the big top, the vibrant candy-themed set transported us to a world of sugary wonder.

Little ones will mesmerised by the gravity-defying aerial acts, gasping as performers twisted and twirled high above the crowd.

The juggling act, balanced on a grand piano, had everyone cheering,

The acrobats’ jaw-dropping stunts drew excited gasps from the audience.

The show struck the perfect balance—45 minutes of pure entertainment, just long enough to hold the attention of our youngest without feeling rushed. The performers’ dazzling costumes and infectious energy added to the magic, and there were plenty of giggles at the light-hearted moments that kept things fun for all ages.

Afterwards, we couldn’t stop chatting about our favourite acts as we strolled through Winter Wonderland. If you’re visiting with children, this show is an absolute must-see—it’s festive, thrilling, and leaves you feeling like you’ve unwrapped a little piece of Christmas joy.

To wind down, we stepped into Bar Ice, an enchanting alpine-themed retreat in association with Mixtons Cocktails. Swaddled in Regatta ski jackets and gloves provided at the entrance, we sipped on festive alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails amidst the ice-sculpted decor.

The walls, tables, and even our glasses were made of ice, creating a magical, immersive experience. Kids will marvel at the frozen animal sculptures, while grown-ups enjoy the chic après-ski vibes and rocking DJ beats.

Winter Wonderland is more than an event; it’s a celebration of everything that makes Christmas magical. From the enchanting Magical Ice Kingdom to the festive fun of skating and sliding, every frosty attraction is designed to captivate both young and old.

For parents, it’s a nostalgic walk down festive memory lane; for children, it’s a dream brought to life. Nestled in the scenic Cotswolds, Cotswold Wildlife Park is a gem for both animal lovers and families seeking a day of adventure. My recent visit revealed a plethora of engaging experiences, but the highlight was undoubtedly the extraordinary breeding success of the Greater Bamboo Lemur, a species classified as “Critically Endangered” by the IUCN.

As I entered the park, I was greeted by the sounds of wildlife, setting the stage for a day of discovery. The Greater Bamboo Lemur exhibit, aptly named Madagascar, drew me in. The as-yet-unnamed infant, born to parents Raphael and Bijou, was a sight to behold, looking so adorable as it clung to his mother.

Watching this little primate was not just delightful but it was a reminder of the vital conservation work being done at the park. Remarkably, Cotswold Wildlife Park is one of only two zoos globally to have bred this species this year, and with just 36 individuals in captivity worldwide, each birth is a monumental achievement.

Cotswold Wildlife Park not only houses these captivating primates but also funds critical conservation initiatives in Madagascar, such as Helpsimus and Impact Madagascar. Their efforts have led to the protection of Greater Bamboo Lemurs, helping the wild population rebound from fewer than 100 individuals in 2008 to over 1,500 today. Such progress is astounding, particularly in the face of challenges like habitat destruction and climate change.

The park’s design allows visitors to engage with various species. I wandered through the lush pathways, encountering everything from majestic giraffes to African penguins.

Each exhibit is thoughtfully curated to reflect the animals’ natural habitats, providing a sense of immersion that enhances the experience. Families will find the playful antics of the ring-tailed lemurs especially entertaining as they leap about, showcasing their social behaviour.

Another highlight of the day was the park’s commitment to education. Informational boards and enthusiastic staff share the significance of each species, particularly the plight of lemurs.

With 98% of lemur species threatened with extinction, the educational initiatives here are vital in raising awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility among visitors.

This year, in addition to the Greater Bamboo Lemur, Cotswold Wildlife Park has welcomed several other baby animals, including playful capuchin monkeys and the energetic meerkat pups, making it an ideal time for families to visit. Each newborn adds to the park’s vibrant ecosystem and serves as a beacon of hope for conservation.

As my visit came to a close, I felt a profound sense of appreciation for the dedication displayed by the staff and volunteers. Their work is not merely about caring for animals; it’s about preserving endangered species and restoring their populations.

Cotswold Wildlife Park offers a perfect blend of family fun and serious conservation efforts. Whether you are admiring the adorable lemurs or learning about the various conservation projects, a day here is not just an outing; it’s a step towards a greater understanding of our planet’s wildlife. This park is a true testament to the impact of dedication and love for nature.
